Gala Dinner: Nov. 12, 2006 at DANIEL
The 21st Century Filmmaker Awards are given out at each Avignon/New York Film Festival. The Roger Statuette (pronounced "ro-jay") was created by sculptor John Knowles of the Roger Smith Hotel to symbolize the Award's cinematic creativity and independence.
